By air.

Best options: Toulouse Blagnac or Carcassonne airport.

From Toulouse: A hire car is a good option. Many people do manage to get to us using public transport. From Toulouse you can reckon on the journey to Tourné taking: 20 - 40 minutes by shuttle bus or 20 minutes by taxi depending on traffic. 70 minutes by train to Foix from Toulouse Matabiau train station. The bus stop is directly outside Foix train station. 30 minutes by bus from Foix to Castlenau Durban. 15 - 25 minutes walk from Castlenau Durban to Tourné. Or, we can arrange to collect you at a pre-arranged time for no charge from the village.

Train from Toulouse train station [Matabiu] -20-40 minutes by shuttle bus from the airport [Blagnac]. Link here for shuttle bus details and cost. Taxis always available outside the airport, between 25 and 35 € from the airport to the train station depending on time of day and traffic.

Train from Toulouse to Foix.

for times see the SNCF website where you can reserve train tickets and check times. From Foix it will be necessary either to take a bus for 2€, see QR code link below! or take a taxi around 65€ or arrange for one of our team to collect you, 35€ when available. If you take a bus, we will collect you from the village of Castlenau Durban depending on the retreat you are attendning.

From Carcassonne

the journey is the same except that it is necessary to take a train from Carcassonne to Toulouse and then change trains.

Train via euro tunnel works well-getting across Paris can be a very pleasant or terrifying experience, but we do it! Motorbike taxi between the train stations is good if your bags are small. This link tells of the different ways to get form Gard du Nord to Montparnasse

We can arrange to have you met by taxi at your arrival point. From the airports the cost is usually around 190€ door to door depending on the time of day. Taxis are always available at the airports and will find us if they have sat. nav. which most will have these days!

Coming from Foix direction by car

just before the end of the village of Castelnau Durban on the D117, turn left, chemin de tourné. the main house is on thre left after 2.5kms. park in the private parking opposite the stone bridge

Coming from direction St Girons by car

just as you enter the village of Caselnau Durban on the D117, turn right, chemin de tourné. the main house is on the left after 2.5kms. park in the private parking opposite the stone bridge
